Waves crashing into to the beach, the smell of sunscreen oil floating in through the open window. Yes we are still in lovely Rimini. After the jailworthy breakfast we headed out into the sunshine and set the GPS for Bologna, city of students and the famous spaghetti.

Yesterday was a nice and sunny day, and we thought it would not get any hotter. Well we were wrong, today the temperature reached 33 degrees in the shadow. Luckily this day was labeled bitch beach day.

As we are with 3 cheffy people we decided that today we would learn the secrets to some great Tuscan dishes. When we arrived at the hotel we immediately informed for a class nearby, luckily Lella ‘insert rest of name’ had some room left in one of her classes.

Florence the city which dreams are made of. After a short night after last nights adventure we were ready to head out and see all monuments that make Italy famous around the world. Today was a day of change! We started by changing our short shorts for long pants again due to the unfavorable weather gods! We started the day where we left off being Genova. And it’s actually very fine weather here, some 23 degrees when we arrived!
Not much too talk about after this first short day but at least one thing is sure these Italians drive like crazy…
The car is fine we got an almost brand new peugeot 307 it still smells like new.
Most interesting activity today was dinner and the great ice cream afterwards.
